As a part of my research work, I have participated in various geological and geophysical field works that involves multiple components like Ground Penetrating Radar profiling, Real Time Kinematics (RTK), Post Processing Kinematics (PPK) survey, Terrestrial Laser Scanner survey, UAV drone survey, Trenching, and Sampling. I have attended various workshops to equip myself with the field and dating techniques. In addition, I was familiar with the Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating facility at IITK. During my stay at IITK, I have worked on a project related to Paleo-tsunami studies carried out using geoslices at Andaman & Nicobar Island towards the identification of paleo-tsunami events. Currently, I am analyzing old maps and maritime charts to explore medieval coastline and sea level changes with the inputs of archeology, coastal geomorphology, geology, geochronology etc.
