About the movie: India is facing the biggest migration wave in world history. With urban planning lagging behind the demand for housing, past solutions have to be reconsidered. Featuring in the episode are Siddhartha Benninger (Urban Planner), Christopher Benninger (Architect), Hussain Indorewala (Urban Researcher & Activist), Amitabh Kant (CEO NITI-Aayog), Dr. Shaikh Ahammad (IITD), Kalyan Akkipeddi (Founder Proto-Village) and Aneeta Gokhale (Urban Planner).

About the filmmaker: Andreas van de Laar (30) is a filmmaker from Amsterdam, the Netherlands. He graduated from the European Film College and worked in film, commercials and his own projects like the Dutch remake of the picture “A Great Day in Hiphop”. He came to India in 2017, embarking on a journey that resulted in him creating his first documentary series One Point Seven. The 5-part series explores India's growth challenges and innovative solutions in the sectors of Education, Healthcare, Urban Development and Governance, and Agriculture. For this film, he has interviewed more than 40 influential Indians about how the country will sustain the largest population the world has ever seen. He lives with his three dogs and girlfriend in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh in India.
