Abstract: Psychoanalyst believes that Psychological Problem arises from faulty or unhelpful ways of thinking and learned patterns of unhelpful behaviour. Learning and Unlearning is the crux of growth. Hence learning to identify such thoughts and equipping our self to shield and cope better is important and that is the basic tenet of CBT.

With globalization, we have succumbed to major schemas unconsciously. Cognitive behaviour therapy, one of the scientifically proven tools can guide us better. CBT is set way of thinking which becomes quite important to learn and inculcate within us and others. By perceiving and interpreting the situation appropriately, we go on to build confidence and self-love during a crisis. As a longer goal, we shall use this tool as a path towards better emotional intelligence
