Programmes
The School of Social Sciences has the broad objective
of studying the two-way interaction between society and culture
on the one hand and with science and technology on the other. The
current research interests of the faculty include the areas related
to education, sociology and social anthropology, gender, science
and technology and issues related to water. Faculty is also engaged
in the study of social and cultural transformations in India, especially
