Prof Settar's book entitled "Somnathapura (An Illustrated
Study)" (English version). Dr Parvathi Menon, Resident ed.
The Hindu, will receive the first copy. Dr U. R. Anantha Murthy,
Gnanapitha Awardee and novelist
will release the Kannada version of this book. Dr M.S. Prabhakara,
novelist, Kamarupi and a well-known columnist will receive the
first copy on the 14th Oct. 2008, 6 P.M..
at the Indira Priyadarshini Children Library building, (to the
right of State Central Library building) Cubbon Park , Bangalore.
This will be followed by a brief discourse on
Heritage Literature with media persons, writers and heritage authorities
