Career:   

38 years with TIFR; 1958-96
Retired as Senior Professor.

Research Interests:

Classical analystical theory of numbers. algebraic numbers, 
transcendental  numbers, diophantine equations,
prime numbers,riemann zeta-function and dirichlet series
