At NIAS
As Director of National Institute of Advanced Studies (NIAS), Bangalore, was involved in providing direction to the activities of this Institute which is involved in multi-disciplinary research and conduct of project. The Institute has presently research activities in the areas of natural sciences, social sciences and humanities. Further, it has also a unit involved in strategic and security related studies.
